Singer-bassist Pasi Saarelma has started his musical journey in the beginning of the 70s in a progressive rock band Nimbus. Numbus’ LP ‘Obus’ is still held as one of Finnish prog rock’s most original outputs among the genre enthusiasts. He has studied singing in for example the opera classes of Helsinki Conservatory of Music and Sibelius Academy. He has performed in various operas and theatres. Pasi has played and sang in jazz and dance orchestras, ranging from tango and Dixieland to swing and bebop.
